If contaminants were to enter a cylinder it could lead to damage of the rod and\/or other sealing components. A properly selected wiper could help reduce the need for unscheduled maintenance and even increase the time between maintenance cycles.\r\n\r\nIt is important to select the correct style and material for an application. Our standard wiper material is urethane, however, nitrile, hydrogenated nitrile, Viton\u2122, PEEK, and Hytrel\u00ae wipers are available.
