The uniquely shaped profile energizes the seal in the groove under pressure, retrofitting into R, RX or BX ring type joint gasket grooves.\r\n\r\nRTJU advantages:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Re-usable<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Cost effective<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Non-damaging method for testing your flanges<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Rapid turnover for standard and non-standard groove sizes<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Suitable for water and nitrogen pressure tests<\/li>\r\n \t<li>General temperature range of -30\u00b0C to 110\u00b0C (-22\u00b0F to 230\u00b0F)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nThey are manufactured in-house from our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitechseals.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Bokure_MU90-Flyer_ENG.pdf\">Bokure\u2122 urethane MU90<\/a>. This material boasts exceptional characteristics, including remarkable pressure handling and rebound capabilities. RTJU are used in numerous applications across markets that uses ring type joint gaskets, including, BOP control valves, wireline control valves, and wellheads. These gaskets are for test purposes only and are not to be used for permanent installation. RTJU gaskets are not certified under API or ASME. Proper installation and flange conditions will impact the test gasket performance.
