Additionally, they maintain excellent sealing action when the shaft is eccentric or there is some misalignment.\r\n

V seals are designed to be stretched over the shaft so that their body rotates with the shaft and holds in position by its elastic fit. A seal is created by the contact between the lip and the housing or bearing.
